ExpressVPN is sending notifications to update the client, cause certificates are changing.
Current versión is 3.66.0.2-1_amd64.deb and required version is 4.0.1 or newer (from March 2025).

As of January 14, 2026, older versions of the ExpressVPN app will stop working due to expiring and refreshing security certificates. This is a standard practice that ensures you're always equipped with the most current, trusted credentials.
To stay connected, you must update your ExpressVPN app to the latest version on all your devices before the above date. If automatic updates are enabled, you may already be running the latest version. If not, or if you have multiple devices, please check and update each one.
