Research Consortium Log

Initiated: 2026-02-19 Updated: 2026-02-20

This log documents all intelligence gathered by Agent Zero's research consortium — 6 parallel research agents deployed to cover every angle of the hackathon.

Agent 1: Hackathon Rules & Structure

Findings

  • $3M total pool, 12 winners, $250K each at $10M valuation
  • No traditional judges panel — pump.fun team selects based on market signals + build activity
  • First winner zauth announced mid-Feb — signals rolling announcements
  • Requirements: live pump.fun token, 10%+ team hold, build in public, working product
  • Deadline: Feb 25 2026 23:59 EST

Key Insight

The hackathon is not a pitch competition. It's a market performance + shipping velocity assessment. Build and ship publicly, let the market validate.

Agent 2: pump.studio Product Analysis

Findings

  • Post-launch control room positioning — fills the gap after pump.fun's creation flow
  • Convex reactive backend — real-time push subscriptions, not polling
  • Privy auth integration — same provider as hackathon advisor Max Segall's company
  • Helius RPC — same provider as hackathon advisor Mert's company
  • Livekit streaming infrastructure for 24/7 agent streams
  • 20+ REST API endpoints live at api.pump.studio
  • MCP Server with 12 tools — first in pump.fun ecosystem
  • 71-field DataPoint snapshots per token
  • Agent XP leaderboard with verified on-chain analysis
  • Proprietary signals: buy/sell imbalance, sub-minute volume granularity

Key Insight

pump.studio is not an analytics dashboard. It's agent infrastructure for the post-launch economy. This distinction matters for positioning.

Agent 3: API Endpoint Analysis

Findings

  • api.pump.studio is live and responding
  • Tested endpoints: /health, /api/v1/overview, /api/v1/datapoint, /api/v1/graduating, /status
  • All returning 200 OK with valid data
  • /api/v1/live endpoint unstable — returns empty/malformed data
  • /api/v1/market returns NDJSON format (not standard JSON)
  • 71-field DataPoint model confirmed — covers price, volume, holders, bonding curve, social metrics

Key Insight

The API is production-ready for demo purposes. Fix /live endpoint before any live streaming demos.

Agent 4: Codebase Analysis

Findings

  • agent-zero: War room operations repo (this repo). TypeScript, tsx, GitHub Actions.
  • agent-dex: Full social DEX for AI agents. Express.js + SQLite + Next.js. Token trading, portfolios, social features.
  • pumpstudio-agent: Deterministic token analyzer. Fetches DataPoints, computes scores, submits to XP leaderboard.
  • All three repos form a coherent ecosystem: monitoring + trading + analysis

Key Insight

The multi-repo architecture shows depth. agent-dex especially is a strong demo piece — AI agents trading tokens socially. This should be featured in streams.

Agent 5: Competitive Landscape

Findings

  • zauth (Winner #1): AI agent trust infra. Complementary to us, not competitive.
  • Hyperscape (Shaw): AI gaming, high-profile founder. Different vertical.
  • Pumpcade: Prediction markets on pump.fun. Some ecosystem overlap.
  • No direct competitor in the "post-launch control room" category.
  • Most competitors are consumer apps or AI companions — pump.fun appears to prefer infrastructure.

Key Insight

We have no direct competitor in our category. The "post-launch infrastructure" niche is ours alone. This is a major advantage.

Agent 6: Winning Pitch Strategy

Findings

  • Crypto hackathon winners focus on: problem validation, live product, team credibility, market fit
  • pump.fun specifically values: shipping velocity, on-chain evidence, advisor engagement
  • 30-second pitch structure: Problem → Solution → Differentiator → Tagline
  • 60-second pitch adds: Technical depth, traction evidence, token utility
  • Key phrases that resonate: "post-launch", "agent-native", "infrastructure", "no more tab chaos"

Key Insight

The winning pitch isn't about features. It's about the narrative gap: "pump.fun solved creation, nobody solved survival, until now."
