Can this connect to a USB companion device and MQTT?

I have a Pi at home that I want to do the following with:

• Use this awesome project to visualize my Meshcore data
• Run a Repeater via USB Heltec V3
• Run a Room via USB Heltec V3
• Run meshcoretomqtt to push data to meshmapper and letsmesh

Can pyMC_repeater do this? Or am I mixing up my projects?

Buy a MeshSmith hat for the Pi and run it all from that in the one solution. Save the Heltec for a personal companion.

That is high on the list, but given how much I have already spent on Mesh stuff I was hoping to use the pile of stuff I have here. at least for the first go :)

If you can work out how to setup the Heltec as a KISS modem (There might be firmware for that?) then you can use it as a device to work with PyMC, but a dedicated hat for the Pi is the best approach.

When I run through the pymc installer setup, I don't see KISS modem? The options are:

1. Waveshare LoRa HAT (waveshare)
2. uConsole LoRa Module (uconsole)
3. PiMesh-1W (USA) (pimesh-1w-usa)
4. PiMesh-1W (UK) (pimesh-1w-uk)
5. MeshAdv Mini (meshadv-mini)
6. MeshAdv (meshadv)
