A MWChannel is allowed to be sticky, and this compiles fine. However, when using sticky elements, since the output is maintained, one must be able to ramp_to_zero() in order to clear the output, without disconnecting from the QM. A MWChannel in Quam currently does not have the capability to ramp_to_zero(), both not allowing the user to clear the output, and also potentially accumulating precision errors after multiple play commands.
