Kodi repo still has version 3.6.1 although version 3.7.0 has been released

I'm experiencing an issue, so before going down that rabbit hole, it seems like It's worth a shot just to update from 3.6.1. Although it seems like it's mostly Italian translation, correct me if I'm wrong.

Should I manually update? Is there a reason why the addon version on the Kodi hasn't been updated?
