Our Story

Red Blue Games is a studio of three based out of Durham, NC. We were founded in 2013 by twin brothers Edward and Lucas and later joined by Kevin in 2015. Edward and Kevin both came from Vicious Cycle based in Raleigh, where they worked on third and first-party games like Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, Eat Lead, and Kung Fu Panda. Lucas came from the web industry, leaving his job as QA Engineer at Lulu.com to start Red Blue Games.

Growing up as twin brothers, co-founders Edward and Lucas began making games to share with one another. From Mario levels drawn on spools of printer paper to Lego-based RPGs, their many experiments instilled a love of game making from an early age. Similarly, Kevin developed his passion for game making when he was young, drawing alternative Zelda screens when bored in school, and replaying the tune of his favorite game tracks on his toy piano at home. Together, they've now turned their passion for game creation into Red Blue Games, where they make game experiences to share with the world.
