Describe the bug
preview.redd.it links that aren't embedded, but clickable, don't lead to the image, but rather the same old /r/funny reddit post.
Steps to reproduce the bug
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open this post in old.reddit.com:
https://old.reddit.com/r/wacom/comments/1tbsl5n/this_isnt_ideal/
- Click on the
preview.redd.it link in the comment, which is this:
https://preview.redd.it/4yaj3tis7v0h1.jpeg?width=1936&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0ad2e458a311aa27d496f06758feefc8cd865edf
- That redirects to a URL like:
https://www.reddit.com/media?solution=13a347276614d3af13a347276614d3af&js_challenge=1&token=bbbe4bf1c9a2b5160829c4be34da5861c65ccad4cdea9db78b59f14f3fe11e41&jsc_orig_r=&url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2F4yaj3tis7v0h1.jpeg%3Fwidth%3D1936%26format%3Dpjpg%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3D0ad2e458a311aa27d496f06758feefc8cd865edf
- Instead of opening the image, as it does with reddit, redlib opens this same post every time:
https://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/media/removed_by_moderator/
- Ideally, the link would redirect to the image.
Additional context / screenshot
I notice some work was done for PR #80 and #92 to deal with embedded previews. This may be similar, except the images aren't embedded, they're just links.
I initially didn't realize this is only an issue when opening links from old.reddit.com that open in redlib. Viewing the post in redlib itself, the previews are embedded properly. So this may be beyond the scope of redlib, honestly. But maybe others also use old.reddit.com for posting, and have run across this same issue, clicking on the preview links and having them redirected to redlib.
