Maybe you haven't tested on the iPad in landscape but that's the platform I use daily and your interface is missing all kinds of normal Apple UI features.
Things like simple arrows, and going to settings switches the main chat interface to the sidebar.
Kind of looks like multiple people are doing the UX/UI and not talking to each other.
I'd suggest someone do a usability analysis on the app for all platform in all formats.
Also I'm not sure you have checked but the WCAG standards for digital accessibility need to be checked as well.
Oh, and a version number on the home page would be nice as well as auto update for the app so the user doesn't have to delete and then reinstall...
