It’d be nice to support soft patching. Some of the cores used by the app support it, such as Gambatte for GB/GBC. This way, users could quickly apply/test different patches without needing to go to an external website to hard-patch the base ROM and then import it into Delta for some of their games. Usually, the core would require the IPS/BPS file to be in the same folder as the base game and to have the same name. I’ve tried that with Delta before putting it here, but no luck.
I imagine it could be one of the context menu options here, alongside save data management.
One use case for that is the ability to test quickly or check out RetroAchievement-compatible patches.
