No module named 'serial'

Getting this error when executing the command.

Did you have any trouble installing the pyserial module as described in the Installation section of the README?

It seemed to install fine. Restarted and tried to no avail. I’m using a MacBook Pro m1 Thanks, Zac

Please verify the pyserial installation by running python3 -m pip show pyserial and pasting the result here.

I just ran into this issue today while updating my tink to 3.97 on linux. The resolution was to install the pyserial module as root (not recommended as it may be). I assume there is an equivalent for mac?

Incidentally, I also had to run the tinkup.py script as root in order for it to be able to open the port and locate the plugged in device. Everything ran fine after that. Ah, I see this is already addressed in the readme, m'bad
