- Download and install Karabiner
- Clone the git repo into your
~/codes/folder usinggit clone https://github.com/rosenbrockc/modifiers.git. - Click on the Karabiner icon in the status area and choose "Preferences".
- On the "Misc & Uninstall" tab, choose "Open private.xml".
- Replace the private.xml file with the one from the repo.
- On the "Change Key" tab:
- Click "ReloadXML"
- Expand the "Modifier Optimizer" group (at the top of the list)
- Enable all of the options you like.
Auto-generated PDF files of all the key remappings in Modifiers are included in the docs folder. They are best viewed as PDFs because of the vector nature of the output. I tried doing other formats like PNG, but it looked grainy. One PDF gets generated for each of the XML files referenced in private.xml.
