This is strongly related to the idea of making the Annotation View a first-class nav item.
We should add the option for the user to "snapshot" a current annotation workspace state:
- Essential: which images are open
- Nice to have: panel layout
Users should probably be able to give names to snapshots, so they can more easily reload them.
Along the lines of considering the annotation view our new "center of gravity": the snapshots could have other benefits in the long run, such as surfacing in the KG? (Picking a snapshot to filter or color-code the graph?)
