Difference between streams and session-traffic

Hi,
I am trying to understand the difference between streams and session-traffic. Specifically, the difference between:

  "session-traffic": {
    "ipv4-pps": 1
   }

AND

  "streams": [
    {   
      "direction": "both", 
      "length": 256,
      "name": "ipv41",
      "nat": true,
      "pps": 1,
      "priority": 0,
      "stream-group-id": 1,
      "network-interface": "enp4s0",
      "type": "ipv4"
     }
]

I tried reading the documentation and also looked at the packet captures with enabling these options one at a time but I could not see any difference except that for streams is NAT aware.

I have raised an issue #352 in the past to make session-traffic too NAT aware and is accepted as Feature. So I guess there is subtle difference between these two.

I would appreciate if someone can enlighten me on this.
