It looks like the right side of the pico is unused. Is the pico fast enough to also have 2 9 pin ports for joysticks and paddles?
I am wondering if there would be a better way than plain key mapping like the other boards do, and instead use multiple HID for keyboard and joysticks.
I am envisioning using a rp2040 module and keyboard like you but adding 2 9pin dsub to the back of the keyboard.
I really enjoyed your thorough youtube video, and hope you will do something like it for joysticks and paddles.
