Individual Contributor License Agreement (CLA)

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Run ("the Project").

By signing this Contributor License Agreement ("Agreement"), you agree to the following terms:

1. Definitions

  • "You" (or "Your") — the individual submitting a Contribution.
  • "Contribution" — any original work of authorship, including modifications or additions to the Project, intentionally submitted by You to the Project for inclusion.
  • "Submit" — any form of communication (e.g., pull request, commit, issue, email) sent to the Project.

2. Grant of Copyright License

You grant the Project maintainer a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable license to:

  • Reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute Your Contributions and such derivative works in any form.
  • Sublicense and relicensing Your Contributions under any license of the Project maintainer's choosing, including but not limited to changing the Project's license in the future.

3. Grant of Patent License

You grant the Project maintainer a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work, where such license applies only to patent claims licensable by You that are necessarily infringed by Your Contribution(s).

4. Your Representations

You represent that:

  • (a) You are legally entitled to grant the above license.
  • (b) Each of Your Contributions is Your original creation.
  • (c) Your Contribution does not include any third-party code or material unless You have permission from the rightful owner.
  • (d) You are not aware of any claims, liens, or rights that would restrict the grant of rights hereunder.

5. Support; Warranty Disclaimer

You are not expected to provide support for Your Contributions. Unless required by applicable law or agreed to in writing, You provide Your Contributions on an "AS IS" BASIS, without warranties or conditions of any kind.

6. Notification of Changes

You agree to notify the Project maintainer if any of the above representations become inaccurate in any respect.
