Current repro:

azlin gui Simard
Error: GUI dependency/setup phase failed (exit 1): exit code 1

Notes

• azlin connect Simard --no-tmux -- whoami succeeds.
• command -v vncserver and command -v startxfce4 both succeed on Simard.
• The exact GUI dependency setup script succeeds when run manually through azlin connect.
• That points to the GUI command's own routed SSH / bastion transport path rather than the remote apt/package logic itself.
