slow file system and system freeze on win11

I am using s3drive on win11 with my s3 (cubbit). I use s3 as a server and my laptop as client. So I have mounted my s3 as a drive and all folders are connecting to the s3 server via s3drive.

Performance is fluctuating, but normally it takes ages to open a s3 folder or opening/saving a file.
For the most of the time performing actions via s3drive on the s3 drive will freeze the whole win11 laptop. Sometimes it takes more than 10 minutes to an hour to perform an action. Sync (s3drive function) is also taking ages.

When accessing the files on my s3 via the s3drive app, all actions are fast and normal.

versioning is off
encryption is off
md5 is off
multipart is on
skip same file upload in on
thumbnails are on
mount cache mode is minimal (played with this already)
show thumbnails in on

Can you please go to App settings and make sure your Mount cache mode is set to Full?

I would be curious to know if this helped to resolve this issue.

I can do this, but on an earlier moment we decided to go for minimal, because s3drive used excessive cpu power (60%+ or even 80%+)

Do you mean that on Full Mode S3Drive was using more CPU than on other settings?

Anyway, please let me know if at least performance has improved with Full mode, so we can carry on troubleshooting.

I used all settings. I have it on full the last days (I am on holiday, so I did not use te laptop much) and today I loaded the explorer. CPU usage went instantly up to almost 100%. After loading the explorer, the CPU went to 0,3% for s3drive. But when I click on a folder or file to open it, it is going again sky high (about 100%).

Als when using sync (copy) I see 90+ usage of cpu power.
