ZELDA NOTES

Multiple users have reported issues using some features of ZELDA NOTES in nxapi's Electron app. I am not able to look into this as I don't currently have either game ZELDA NOTES requires.

Please share any specific issues you have here!

(This is unrelated to the issue selecting a title on the launch page, this was due to the two new web service JS APIs ZELDA NOTES uses, these are both now implemented.)

Update: @techy804 has given me a download code for Breath of the Wild, so I'll be able to have a look at any issues affecting ZELDA NOTES features for this game soon. 💜 I'll still leave this issue open for tracking issues affecting ZELDA NOTES features for both games.

Cannot select a category to filter by.
Cannot toggle Hide Discovered Destinations.

Not even off the Great Plateau and these are the things I've noticed. Then again, it could be because I'm not off the Great Plateau yet.

EDIT: to those who don't know, the Great Plateau's basically the tutorial area for BOTW

Can confirm that Zelda Notes is not working as it should, as techy said, you can't toggle anything, no matter where you are in the game
Otherwise it works fine, it connects to your switch, it detects your location n stuff, the only big issue is not being able to toggle anything.

Any functions that draw a second layer on the map screen do not work.
Look like the electron app cannot fire the touch event for that layer.

That's what I am thinking, that some things only respond to touch events that the Electron app doesn't emit because you're probably using a mouse/trackpad. (It works on iOS using a mouse, but presumably iOS always emulates touch events.) If that is right it should work with device simulation on in the developer tools window (this only seems to work with the developer tools attached to the web service window, not in a separate window) so it does emulate touch events.

It doesn't look like there's any way to have Electron always use only touch event emulation though.

Just tried it with the electron app using dev tools and must say that it doesn't seem to be an issue with the touch event. The categories in the map are still not possible to select, even when emulating touch events. Anything else works as before.
