Request for more settings

Addon is working great in my testing, if possible some more settings would be great?

• For Hide Players/Player Owned, could you limit the number shown? i.e. show 10 players or 10 player owned NPCs
• Can you allow current target to be rendered?
• Would it be possible to hide players outside of subgroup/squad etc as a setting?
• You have hide player owned, with the ability to show self, ability to show subgroup/squad?

I haven't looked into any party/squad gamecode yet but I can try to look around and see what I can do

Yes, it would basically mean you could set the player count to highest and then use this addon as an actual fine control over the exact number - not just the game's combined npc/player cap.

Thank you for looking into it, disabling the player npcs allowed me to disable effect lod without any framerate loss

I haven't had any luck with squad/party related things yet unfortunately

I did look at this and it seems turret objects are handled elsewhere in the gamecode, so I can't influence their visibility from the current game hook

Just a further question: Would it be possible to hide only pets/minions etc in instances? Like, Disable in Instances turned on, but have an option to still hide pets, minis, etc in the instance.

Sorry to hijack the thread. First off, thank you for creating this addon, it's been one of the most useful. I'd like to ask if it's possible to add:

• an option to hide npcs (opposite to the current, that unhides). Reason: to declutter the screen from npcs like "rat", "dust" , and other ambient creatures in general.
• maybe out scope, but an option to also hide the nameplates of hidden models

I have been thinking about moving over to a more complex configurable rules engine that would let users create their own advanced rulesets for hiding/showing, but for now it will remain a potential future update

Will be nice to have: Hide All Player and Player-Owned in Combat. Checkbox somewhere near "Hide in Instance" setting :)

@Aeon1704 Latest version now has options to hide players and player-owned characters when in combat

It seems like new options hide Non-Party and hide Non-Squad kinda conflict with each other.
If i am in squad with hide Non-Squad and hide Non-Party enabled, players still hidden. Only way to see squad player to disabled hide Non-Party.

I think hide Non-Party players should also apply to squad's subgroup.
Or otherwise being present in squad should hold priority over party setting.

Will it be possible to make more flexible "Disable in Instances" options?
Now it kinda disables all functionality while in Raids or Fractals, etc. Or keeps them fully active, depending on settings.
But i would love to Unhide Players-Only while in Instances.
Maybe something like:

Instance Behavior:
-Unhide Players Only (Combat and NonCombat)
-Unhide Players and Player-Owned (Combat and NonCombat)
-Unhide All (equal to current Disable)
-Do Nothing (equal to current Enabled)

I know i can use hotkeys, but it is kinda alot of setting adjustment to unhide players, but then hide their summons and also disable "hide players in combat" setting while entering or leaving fractals(or strikes).
P.s. I faced a little bit of complication in fractals with all character models hidden. Unseen mechanics and AOEs because of that. Kinda wanna unhide players only without too much setting changes :) Would be great if that will be added. More Instance Behavior settings could really distinguish Open World behavior from Instances.
