Current Behavior

Very simple. Notifications fail to push through on iOS device 99% of the time. I know it is properly configured because A. It’s simple and B. Occasionally they work but almost never. Been like this for months and I know I’m not the only one experiencing this. What gives?

And yes, there are quite a few bug reports for this topic that already exist but they are from years past and this has been going on for as long as I can remember so clearly needs to be posted again.

I confirm the problem is happening.

I am on iOs 26.4.2, app 2.15.2, and notifications are not pushing through when app is in the background.

When I put the app in the foreground, sometimes notifications come, sometimes not, even if I know they should (because when they do, I see that the message was received 4-5 minutes ago).

Just as OP, everything is set correctly (push notifications inside the app, background refresh and notification in iOS settings).

Have you seen any improvement since the 16th? The Push notification server had some issues which have since been resolved

No. How long had the issues you mentioned been affecting the server? Because this has been a consistent problem for several months.
