monitor-workspace mismatch when plugging in new monitor

I am using 2 scripts to disable/re-enable a monitor when lid is closed.

When the monitor is re-enabled, workspaces on other two monitors are mismatched.

Example:
Monitors A, B, C
Remove C
Add C
Monitor A shows workspaces on bar for monitor B
Monitor B shows workspaces on bar for monitor A

Adding to that: It would be useful to be able to bind the initial workspace to specific monitors by id and description. Currently using this plugin normal workspace bindings with default and persistent do not work. This would solve the above issue.
