older Expansion and PDF Data Extraction Not Working

Issue Description

The application is experiencing two related problems:

1. Folder cannot be expanded in the file explorer/tree view.
2. PDF data extraction is failing and no content is being extracted from PDF files.

Expected Behavior

• Users should be able to expand folders and view their contents.
• PDF files should be processed successfully and extracted data should be displayed.

Current Behavior

• Clicking on a folder does not expand it.
• PDF extraction process fails and returns no data.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the application.
2. Navigate to the file explorer.
3. Try to expand a folder.
4. Select a PDF file for extraction.
5. Observe that the folder does not expand and PDF data is not extracted.
