Platform
iOS 26.5.2
SyncUp version
1.1.15
Describe the bug
The sync does not work when the app is not in focus or has been opened very recently.
To prove this, I created a system where I can record a voice note on the iPhone, which is then synced to my laptop via Tailscale, then transcribed by AI, and finally sends a Pushover notification to the same iPhone.
I have just recorded a voice note, but have not opened the SyncUp app for an hour ... alas the Pushover notification has not arrived.
If I now open the SyncUp app on my iPhone or bring it back to focus (it was already "running" in the one of my apps that I can scroll through that's been opened) then I wait about a minute and I can see the folder sync and then a few seconds later the Pushover arrives.
That's it - great app ... when you have it open :-)
Thanks.

Paully
