Display of last line of most recent message is cut off (after restore from backup) #6299

Description

Bug description

After restoring messages from a Signal backup, the bottom half of the most recent message in any chat is cut off when the keyboard is not displayed.

Steps to reproduce

  • Install latest Signal on latest iOS
  • Restore messages from Signal cloud encrypted backup
  • Go into any chat contact page

Actual result: View the list of chat messages, the last (bottom-most) message is cut off about 50% above the bottom. Note, if you tap the input box to start composing a new message, then the message list scrolls properly to display the full message. It's not a data issue, it's a display problem where there is a blank area above the input box (before it has focus) that covers the bottom 50% of the most recent message (including any reaction emojis it has).

Expected result: The full message text of the most recent message should be fully visible, even before putting focus on the input text box (for composing).

I believe this started after I restored from a backup, but I cannot be 100% sure. It's possible it's not related, but I don't have a way to confirm this.
