How to make QuickCamera recognize a microscope ...

Is there any way to make Quick Camera, running on an M1 Mini with Monterey (or soon Sonoma), recognize an OX5 ("DigitalBlue") microscope that worked with miXscope.app (sadly, 32-bit)on older MacOSX systems?
Perhaps as simple as editing the Info.plist ?
The microscope has VGA resolution. The microscope's USB parameters, found in System Information/USB, are:

Hi there - Does your microscope appear as an available camera in any other application (e.g., Photo Booth)? if so, Quick Camera should pick it up automatically. (Quick Camera doesn't do anything special to access cameras, beyond what the operating system provides). Thanks!
