There is a macoos desktop os but no linux brew one

@skevetter i want to take this but any ideas on naming convention for linux brew to differentiate from upstream macos cask for official devpod? let me know if not I will make a few assumptions and throw up a PR.

Would you clarify what you mean by naming convention? Looking at the existing cask https://formulae.brew.sh/cask/devpod, I might suggest devpod-community as the cask name. I think you can have MacOS and Linux binaries in the same cask, no?

@skevetter anybody taken this yet, i pretty much have the full guts to mine already and it has been building steady for a fewe months now, i would want to take it a little more seriously and add macos etc to this and obviously we could refactor the whole damn thing but this could be an easy win? also this one is kind of geared toward bluefin fedora os, but could easily be swapped for basically everything under the sun. Thoughts? devpod-linux-brew and look at the appindicator runtime, this might only be needed for like immutable bluefin oses but i had to do it for mine to go green easily. app-indicator-runtime It only installs exactly what you need from it which is nice vs yolo installing the whole runtime , that was kind of my chef's kiss there.

The way i see it this is one of the easiest ways to get your community edition to users and not be on flathub, (not sure where you are at with that, because flatpak install would be better obviously but obviously this is kind of a fork of an abandoned oss project , so fuck it right?)

So if you want this gift , its yours and i will go CHAD mode and make robust, but only if you say CHAD MODE back to me. if not all bets are off. lol
