I just spent the last 20 mins debugging a LOD/render distance and managed to narrow it down to this mod. When you have a render distance not equal to 1.0 for both vertical and horizontal render distances, you end up with LOD culling horizontally or vertically. Maybe inform people that they should use a default value of 1.0 when using distant horizons so DH's LOD rendering pass can align perfectly with the expected render distance.
