Use of Software I²C ?

Any change that this nice lib could be used with Software-I2C (Sowftwire, SWIIC etc.) instead of Hardware-I2C only ?
Would be a great addition ! :-)

It should be possible as long as the I2C object is a Stream like Wire. I can't add compatibility right now but I welcome a PR if someone writes it.
