Every node in the Spectregrams network will have an identical front-end; the only differences being geography and the computer doing the DSP. This issue represents the work to design this front-end and set up at least one ground station according to it.
- Antenna: Probably a long-wavelength dipole array. But to what dimensions?
- Cabling: Which coaxial cable, what length?
- Analog receiver: Will we use any analog components, like an LNA?
- Digital receiver: We're exploring the RX-888 MKII.
