Hi, my name is Ryan Atkinson, and I'm building free and open source software and communicating about it. I've been working on my FOSS web projects full-time in public since 2019 🪄🤖

One idealized goal here is to sustainably fund my self-directed software dev work with the help of the users of my software like Fuz, but it's more complicated than that as I explain here.

I'm pursuing multiple paths to finding funding, but I won't sell Fuz or its projects. Donations are strong signals that helps me get more funding. I hope to continue spending most of my time working on software that's meaningful to me, and communicating about the process and results. Supporting me at any level will grant supporters-only access to social websites I build on camera, maybe in 2026.
