Side Panel is disappeared after click on the Git Prefix button

Hello @srmeyers,

First of all I want to say the Git Prefix is really useful and I like to use it.

Recently VSCode has a new feature called Side Panel, and there is an issue relating to it. If we set the Source Control into the Side Panel and click on the Git Prefix button, the Side Panel will be unfortunately disappeared.

I hope you or someone have some time to fix it.

I'm on the bottom panel but it still closes the panel when I press the button
