show bundle version in cli output

Would it be possible to add the new bundle version in the cli output when, perhaps even in a structured form (--format=json flag?) for use in scripts to tag a release?

Releases are already versioned at our end. What additional tagging are you referring to?
Also, do you require the output of a build upload or build promotion to be modified? Please share the exact CLI command where additional output is needed.

The current output includes the hash version, but not the auto-incremented numerical version, which can be convenient after, for instance, a promotion to spot the new version in the ui. For example, run the update command to promote a bundle, post to slack "Version v8 is ready for testing" (maybe even with a deeplink to open the app). Then, another team member opens it up and auto-updates or uses the testing framework to switch to the version.
