Codex: "codex app-server closed stdout" error — unable to fetch usage data

CodexBar is unable to fetch usage data for the Codex provider (ChatGPT subscription). Every refresh attempt fails with the following error message displayed in the menu bar:

Codex returned invalid data: codex app-server closed stdout

No usage metrics (session, weekly, or credits) are shown — the provider just displays the error and no data is populated.

and currently it gives this issue but when I sign in it revert back to the error message before
