I've also experienced a scrollbar issue while working on Discover V2 PR.

While talking to @piyalbasu it appears there is a Mac OS config which changes scrolling behavior:

on Mac OS, I have Show scroll bars set to Automatically based on mouse or trackpad

But if I set it to When scrolling, I see what you're seeing
