🌟 The Origin Story

The Problem I Faced

As a developer who loves writing technical content, I found myself in a familiar situation: writing tutorials and blog posts on Medium, but wanting to share them on dev.to where the developer community is more engaged.

The problem? Converting Medium articles to dev.to's Markdown format was a nightmare.

• ⏰ Time-consuming - Hours spent manually reformatting code blocks
• 😤 Frustrating - Syntax highlighting breaking, images not copying over
• 🔄 Repetitive - Copy-paste-fix-repeat for every single article
• 📉 Error-Prone - Missing formatting, broken links, lost content
• 💸 Barrier to Cross-Posting - Discouraged me from sharing on multiple platforms

The Developer's Dilemma

Here's the reality for developers who write:

• Medium has a great editor but limited developer community
• dev.to has an amazing dev community but requires Markdown
• Manual conversion is tedious and breaks your workflow
• Existing tools either don't work well or cost money

As developers, we automate everything - why not this?

After spending another evening manually fixing code blocks and reformatting my latest tutorial, I thought: "There has to be a better way!"

With AI models like Google's Gemini becoming more accessible, I realized we could build something that:
