CSSR started as a thesis from Kristina Klinkner and Cosma Shalizi. It is now maintained by Sam Stites in close collaboration from Kristina and Cosma.

CSSR was written by KLK, with some help in debugging and testing from CRS; this documentation was jointly written. Parts of the CSSR code were written at the Santa Fe Institute and at the University of San Francisco.
