How to handle the split from this repository to the kwin-only version (upgrading to v0.9.0)?

Hi! I'm using version 0.8.1 on Kubuntu 25.10, built from this repository before the split.

I'm relatively new to KDE, so I'm not sure if I can just run the installation script referenced in the docs (here), or if I have to uninstall first.

What are the steps for going from the pre-split version to the split version?

No need to uninstall, just run the script and restart Plasma. The existing files will be replaced with newer versions.

Just a heads up, I had to change #!/bin/sh to #!/bin/bash to be able to run it.
