Finding out the file size when saving a jpg

I've just started with Photodemon and enjoying it. Having processed a picture, I usually save it as a .jpg and on some occasions want to limit the file size. Is there a way of finding the file size whilst adjusting the jpg compression? At the moment, I guess and then check the file properties and iterate until I get the size I need. Thanks.

Other programs do show the (expected) file size in an Export Image as (JPG/PNG/etc) which I do find handy at times, so if something similar could be added to PD that would be most helpful. It doesn't have to be standard/default and could be in the "advanced" options when saving an image as I can imagine it might be a bit slower.
