Would you include support for passing a JSON object with the compiler options, similar to the tsconfig.json?
I think this could be better when using the compiler.

I'm planning to use your module as a dependency for a new module that I'm currently designing, and I need a TypeScript compiler, but the API docs of the official repo aren't clear enough, and I find your module very easy to use.
