The model is mainly developed for scRNA-seq. But since the assumptions (negative binomial noise model + additive effects) should match the bulk data, it is worth trying on the bulk data.
But you should note that you definitely need enough samples in the bulk data so that the model can capture the variations there.
Would be happy to chat and look into your results if you are interested in running DRVI on bulk data.
