Describe the bug

Just download system-bridge-5.1.4-setup.exe and windows won't allow the file to be downloaded (nor executed). It says "Trojan:Win32/Kepavll!rfn".

Only suggestion I gan give is build your own version? I've honestly given up with windows, the whole thing is a trojan itself.

The databases have flagged this package so many times. I have no idea how to submit a false positive or whatever they think is malware in this automatically built package.

Whether its due to the nature of how it can access sensors on the device or run system commands, I have no clue.

I'm a full time linux user now, I only run windows for certain games and have no bandwidth to support windows if it just flags an installer as a trojan.

Thanks for the reply, I couldn't agree more ! I also have both Linux ans Windows, already installed system bridge on Linux and works perfectly 👌
I looked into this issue and found out Microsoft is proposing a submission portal https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission
I will submit it, maybe you could do the same as developer (which will probably have more impact)

I think its worth noting that if you were to build this yourself there are a lot of component dependencies here:

Build Summary
To build System Bridge you will (at least i did) need all these components:

✅ Web Client (Vite + Lit + TypeScript)
✅ Go Backend (API + WebSocket server)
✅ Windows Resources (Icon + Version info embedded)
✅ CGO Dependencies (robotgo for system automation)

• Git (if you dont already have that)
• Go - Backend runtime
• Node.js - JavaScript runtime
• pnpm - Package manager
• Make - Build automation
• MSYS2/MinGW-w64 - GCC compiler toolchain
