Parse() Toolchain - Permanent Release

This release contains the Zig/Clang toolchain and C++ runtime required by Parse() to compile generated C++23 code into native binaries. It is a separate, standalone download from the Parse() source code.

This is a permanent, rolling release entry. The URL and filename never change. When the toolchain is updated, this release is replaced in place. You always get the latest version from the same link - bookmark it.

How to Install

1. Download parsekit-toolchain.zip from the assets below.
2. Unzip the contents directly into the root of your Parse() source folder (the same directory that contains src\, bin\, and README.md).
3. That's it - no PATH changes, no environment variables, no separate installer.

The directory structure after extraction should look like this:

ParseKit\           <- your Parse() repo root
  bin\
    res\
      zig\          <- toolchain lands here
  src\
  README.md
  ...

Parse() locates the toolchain automatically from the repo root. No additional configuration is needed.

System Requirements

Host OS	Windows 10/11 x64
Linux cross-compile	WSL2 + Ubuntu (wsl --install -d Ubuntu)
Delphi (to build from source)	Delphi 11 Alexandria or later

Cross-compiling Linux x64 binaries from Windows requires WSL2 with Ubuntu installed. Parse() finds it automatically - nothing further to configure.

Notes

• The toolchain is not bundled with the source to keep the repo size manageable and to allow independent toolchain updates.
• If a compile step fails with a message about Zig not being found, verify that the toolchain was extracted to the repo root (not into a subdirectory).
• This release entry will always reflect the latest compatible toolchain. If you are seeing issues after a Parse() source update, re-download this release to ensure you have the matching version.
