Let me provide also some more context: in EMI, we are working on developing a system with a single source of truth for data structures, which in our case is a postgres schema.

We use SQLite for the edge devices, and we needed to translate adequately several cases that need to be emulated in SQLite, and the most important of these cases by far is the RLS policy system. Since handling these translations is rather complex, if there was another simpler solution I would drop the current implementation we have in a heartbeat.
