Added to my shows vs Watchlist? What does it mean? #1035

Hey y'll! I'm not an expert at Trakt.tv and I was always struggling with its logic but what happens when you add an unaired show in Showly to "My shows"? What is the difference between "My shows" and adding it to "Watchlist"? Do I understand it correctly that if I didn't watch any episodes of a new show and I have it "Added to my shows" it will not appear in Trakt.tv? I have to add it to a "watchlist" for its name to appear in my trakt correct? But if I do this then the tv show is not appearing in the "progress" tab of showly but is in Collection tab under "Watchlist". In short, how to add a tv show I plan to watch or is unaired for it to appear in my trakt.tv and in progress in showly? Many thanks |

I'm also a bit confused about this, except I don't care about trakt syncing since they nuked the free tier plan. |

In Showly if you add something to My Shows it will appear in Progress section and you can also start tracking and marking from there. Watchlist is for shows you plan to watch in the future - these shows will not appear in Progress section. The difference is that Trakt has no option to have something in progress/history without marking at least a single episode as watched while in Showly you can. Something to remember.
