• Timezone field should be able to be defaulted to a timezone, an events setting -> [6.x] Default values can be computed statamic/cms#14279

I created a test page with all of the event blocks. A few issues to note:

• Default Event (opens into new page) throws error
• Parenthesis appear by default (shown by red arrows). Note that some of the events have end times and some do not and in both situations there are parenthesis

• CP calendars aren't laid out nicely for Daily, Weekly, Every

• Recurrence is behaving odd > I don't know if this is a timezone situation but I tried setting the 15-18 dates in the CP using both UTC and PST. In both instances, right after I saved the dates shifted to the 14-17: Issues with dates statamic/cms#14251

I'm currently testing the v6 alpha too, and I've noticed that thing of dates hopping forward one day as you mention.

It seems to be when using the calendar picker, rather than the date field. I was doing it with a non-repeating single day event.

Will keep testing and report back if I notice any more distinguishing patterns

Pretty sure this is a Statamic issue, or configuration issue on your side. It's the next thing I'm looking in to.

Happy to help with testing out theories.

I can consistently reproduce it. It happens whether I use the calendar picker or the manual date entry field, on the first save. If I then correct the date using the manual date entry field (correcting it with the calendar never works), then it saves correctly on the second save.

Like I mentioned, it's a statamic issue: statamic/cms#14251. I spoke w/ Jason about and he agrees and is looking in to it.

The event detail page threw an error. Create new event that is set to routing:default > publish event > click on event from an Event block

There are no tz abbreviations now, let's add this to our discussion

@edalzell sorry, also what is the purpose of this issue? Is this a duplicate? Do I need to test anything? Can we close this?
