CMS FS supports "EDF", the enhanced disk format for CMS minidisks.
Turns out that there is a good sized community of people using the older "CDF".
One significant difference between EDF and CDF is that the latter uses 800-byte blocks.
IT MAY also be required that systems with CDF support FBA DASD (e.g., 3310 or 3370).
CMS FS is not designed for piercing the "wrappings" of CKD emulation to the filesystem blocks.
