This is a bug where the mouse and all buttons become unresponsive. The issue can be resolved by downgrading to a previous emulator version.

Can you make a save state. Does it show up with save state?

You need to go in to the AIM SET option in the service menu.
Just make sure that when you are there, pull the trigger first, then move your mouse around and then exit, other wise it won't set.
You'll want the values in the calibration screen to be 255-0, like this
