Chromite seems to default to HTTP

Hello, I don't know if I setup Chromite incorrectly (just installed it from F-Droid) or if I'm just using it wrong, but whenever I enter a URL in the adress bar like ad.nl, it assumes http://ad.nl automatically instead of https://ad.nl. Which is of course not the desired behaviour, the HTTP URL doesn't even work anymore. What should I do?

What was built

APT Repository Infrastructure

• S3 bucket ecs-apt-repo + CloudFront at https://apt.ecs.rocks
• GPG-signed packages (private key in Secrets Manager: ecs-agent-gpg-signing-key)
• Two channels: stable and canary
• Public key at https://apt.ecs.rocks/gpg

CI/CD Pipeline (.github/workflows/agent-publish.yml)

• Builds from software/ecs-linux-agent/ (the real Go agent)
• Publishes canary automatically after staging deploys with agent changes
• Publishes stable after production deploys

Dashboard UI (GET /api/dashboard/agents/packages/versions)

• Stats card on the agents page shows current Canary / Stable versions live from the APT repo
• Per-agent version badge in the agent table: current / outdated / unknown based on channel

Scope changes from original plan

• Agent self-configures repo access — dropped. APT cannot install the package without the GPG key and sources.list already present, so this was a chicken-and-egg non-issue. Manual one-time setup is the correct install path.
• Per-device token auth — deferred. The repo is currently public HTTPS + GPG-signed packages. Token-per-device is a future hardening step if needed.
