Touch slider doesn't work with light entity

I wrote a python driver with support for the light entity, everything works fine, I can toggle it and control both color and brightness from the remote's screen. Out of curiosity, I mapped the touch slider to the light entity brightness....

Oddly, nothing happens when I use the touch slider, the remote doesn't event talk to my driver. Am I missing something?

This is not related to this Python integration library.
It requires an exposed light entity supporting the brightness feature and attribute updates of changed brightness values. If brightness control works using the light-entity in the UI, it will also work with the touch slider in an activity.
Otherwise it's a UI bug and we require logs.
