Black screen when starting any game on Retroid Pocket 4 pro

Hi everyone! I downloaded GameNative on my Retroid Pocket 4 Pro and synced it with Steam to play some light indie games. When I try to launch any game, I get a black screen. I used the "familiar configuration" for my device, but that didn’t help. I read through forums and people suggested checking the "Graphics" section in a special menu. However, when I try to check graphics, I get thrown to a virtual Windows desktop. For testing, I couldn’t run either "Bastion" or "Stardew Valley". On the other hand, "CATO: Buttered Cat" and "Death’s Door" showed up as running in my Steam stats, but on the console I just had a black screen. Kind people, please help me understand what I’m doing wrong!
